A band without boundaries, more tongue than cheek, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll see what D.C punk's all about. Bassist Johnny Bones (Aggressive Behavior and Purr) started The Screws in 95’. Later joined by Drummer Brain, "The Sweater" (Sisters of Morrissey) and Vocalist/Guitarist Irie (Union Strike) with the addition of Lead Guitarist Mookie (Senseless Abuse, Det, MI.) in 2001, The Screws prepared to put the fun back in shows bringing sound and showmanship seldom seen before (sorry, no flaming poodle juggling or hamster darts).
